Mimi's Marinara
Before the Kingdom of Italy existed, before the U.S. Civil War, my Nonna's Nonna taught her daughter how to make marinara sauce out of the sparse ingredients they had on their Sicilian farm.
This recipe passed from mother to daughter for generations until my mother had all sons. This ancestral recipe fits perfectly for all dishes that require a red sauce with some customer favorites being pizza, lasagna, chicken parmesan, and ravioli!
